You'll need to complete all three of these to unlock the Final Exam, which is a brutal, max-difficulty variation of one of those three missions. ![]() Right now, that lineup includes: Kill the Snitch, Grind the Bad Apples and Cleanse the Orphans. These are supremely difficult variations of the main missions. Open the Gates and Sabotage the Lockdown are especially rough considering they put you in close proximity with Mother Gooseberry and Leland Coyle while activating the Deadly Prime Asset modifier, which we'll cover in a second.Īfter you complete all six of these challenges, you'll unlock the next three missions. Despite how short they are, these can actually be the most deadly maps on offer. These are the shorter missions in the list, making up 6 of the 10 Release Tokens needed to escape. These are apparently going to be shuffled each season, but for now, that lineup includes: Cancel the Autopsy, Feed the Children, Punish the Miscreants, Sabotage the Lockdown, Foster the Orphans and Open the Gates. It'll begin with much more difficult variations of the MK Challenges we've finished so far. Program X works similarly to the standard maps mission layouts, although the order is flipped. When you do have your group, you'll want to turn your attention to the missions. It's sure to be a feature in future updates as the community is echoing the sentiment that it needs to be changed, but in the meantime, we'll have to work around it. Considering you need to beat each Program X mission, that means you're either going to have to hop onto Outlast's discord to find fellow players, use voice chat to persuade high-level players to give you a hand or cross your fingers and hope you're sorted into a group that's also playing your map. To complete Program X, you'll almost certainly need a squad of four Reagents, however, you can't currently sort the group you want to play with based on the trial you're aiming to complete. If you don't, well, you're about to grapple with Outlast Trials' matchmaking system, which you'll need because this game mode is not meant to be played solo. It doesn't matter what grade you get, just that you survived the mission and officially marked it off on the trial screen. To unlock the Program X mission chain, you need to complete all five missions on each map. A main mission, two smaller challenge missions and then two 'final tests' which act as much harder variations of the original main mission. These are Police Station, Fun Park and Orphanage. When you begin Outlast Trials, you'll start with the three maps currently unlocked. Looking for a specific section of this guide?
